Frequently Asked Questions
Changing the boundary line color doesn't seem to do anything
Many themes — including the default, Sapling — render a boundary as a fill rather than a line. In these themes, the boundary line color setting has no visible effect. See Customize the Appearance for details.
The iCloud folder doesn't show up
The "Thoughtree" folder on iCloud Drive may not appear in Finder or the Files app until some time has passed since you first launch Thoughtree. If you don't see it right away, check again after a short wait.
I can't change the width
A topic's width can't be changed while "Fit to Text Width" is on. In the Inspector's Layout tab, set "Fit to Text Width" to "Off" for the topic to set its width manually. See Layout Settings for details.
